Though the original Dark Troopers were not combat droids, rather cyborg clone troopers with over 70% of their body parts replaced by mechanical components, Moff Gideon’s latest Dark Trooper project saw the weak human side within them removed, creating advanced battle droids endowed with a military infantry exoskeleton. Although their amour looks similar to that of a Stormtrooper, Dark Troopers are extremely strong and flexible with rocket jets at their feet to propel them into combat and come armed with powerful weaponry to take down any opponent.
